Please do not assume that a model will be released just because it has been made. Furthermore, not all models will be released. The release policy is that models will be made public after they first appear on-screen. This includes the Christmas 2020 pack, which is TANE compatible.Īll of the models currently on this site have already appeared on-screen in STMY. You will find these in the 'Legacy Engines' section under 'TANE Content'. Some older engine models have been released on this site. However, they have been tested and confirmed working in Trainz 2019 SP1-SP4 and Trainz 2022.

Please note, there is a known issue with Trainz 2019 SP5 that prevents the AJS superscript on these locomotives working properly. Some of the TANE models may be compatible with Trainz 2012, however they have not been tested in this version of Trainz. Models without TTTELocomotive scripting, such as rolling stock and those that only use the AJS superscript, are compatible with Trainz a New Era and above, and so you'll find them under the 'TANE Content' section. As such, you'll find these models under the 'TRS 2019+ Content' section. This scripting is compatible with Trainz 2019 and Trainz 2022, including Trainz 2019 SP5. Most of these models use the TTTELocomotive scripting (by Rileyzzz), which allows for the eyes to be 'puppeted' with a video game controller, as well as moved with on-screen controls. Here you'll find the models that were made for the Youtube series Sodor the Modern Years, which have been released 'as-is' in case anyone else wants to use them. We have always been independent of the Thomas Trainz websites that are no longer available.Welcome to WildNorWester 2019.

I'm not sure which incident you are referring to, but Sodor Workshops has not been involved in any events regarding other Thomas & Friends Trainz websites due to copyright, piracy, etc. That is the joy of downloading assets from 3rd party web sites - you spend forever trying to locate missing assets.Pware, The result has been that most Trainz users have given up on using Thomas and Friends.

The current Sodor Workshop site was somehow involved in these shenanigans as well. There were copyright issues, accusations of pirating, and the entire site being taken down. I seem to recall some discussions here years ago about the original Sodor Island web site and its Thomas assets. I did a Google search for some of those listed kuids and got a link to a Romanian Trainz forum where, after translating the posts, I discovered that they did not have the missing assets either but forum members there were also asking the same questions - where are they?
